About Us

Issa and Ragehda Karam began their nursery in the early 80's. It all began in the front yard of their home, they worked hard to create a place where local customers enjoyed purchasing from the family and watching as their business grew. As it blossomed, so did their family. Their children worked along side their parents all through their adolescent years. Issa and Ragehda, along with Annie, their youngest daughter, continue to run the nursery---while their son, Dennis, runs the landscaping side of the business.

Annie has a great knowledge of trees and design sense. Many of Mr. and Mrs. Karam's grandchildren will be seen running around. The nursery is a home to the family and we hope to make it a place you find yourself coming back to.

Issa and Ragehda Karam - Owners

The nursery is their second home and the friendships they have built with so many customers has made the nursery a core part of their lives---over 47 years of business and they are still loving and enjoying it each day. Mr. Karam loves the thrill of finding specimen trees and providing them to his customers. He is an award winning NW Natural Gas Street of Dreams Landscape designer and has a unique eye that can transform any home into a masterpiece. Mrs. Karam is the backbone of the business, having raised her children at the nursery and continues her love of family by spending her days at the nursery with her grandchildren, where she continues to teach the value of hard-work and family. Both Mr. and Mrs. Karam hope that their nursery brings out the inner gardener in you!

Annie Karam-Maskey

Annie Karam-Maskey, the youngest daughter of Issa and Ragehda Karam, developed an interest in the nursery at a young age, and she has spent much of her time working alongside her parents at the family nursery. From growing up around plants and landscape design, she gained extensive knowledge of landscaping and plant care from her father. Learning from him instilled in her a strong passion for plants and creating beautiful outdoor spaces.

As a proud mother of two, Annie is now able to pass on her family’s tradition to her children, who enjoy spending time with her at the nursery, exploring nature and discovering new things. Annie’s passion for her profession is evident throughout the nursery. She combines her extensive knowledge of plants with her love of helping clients select the best plants for their needs---whether creating stunning landscape designs, assisting clients in choosing the right plants, or maintaining the nursery’s plants, Annie embraces every aspect of the business.

In addition to creating a welcoming atmosphere for her clients, Annie’s work reflects her deep appreciation for the industry and the value it brings.

Dennis Karam

For more than 45 years, the nursery has been a second home to Dennis. As a young boy, he spent countless hours alongside his father, helping pick up nursery stock and riding tractors through the fields. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong passion for plants, landscaping, and creating beautiful outdoor spaces.

He enjoys working closely with clients to design, build, and transform landscapes that reflect their vision and lifestyle.

Dennis specializes in irrigation systems, retaining and rock walls, landscape lighting, and custom landscape installations. Access to the nursery's exceptional selection of trees, shrubs, and plants allows him to create distinctive landscapes tailored to each client's property and goals.
